My wife and I go to Barnes and Nobel to unwind from the long days at work. We also like to read and look through the magazines and drink Starbucks. What a best! Anyway, I always choose the Computer Arts Corel Painter, and ImagineFx Mags to look through. But for the past few weeks I have been intrigued with the 3D mags that they have there. Back in the day I took 3D animation classes but I couldn't finish the class due to impatience and the lack of motivation of learning this hard yet amazing form of art. I take my hat off to people who are really good at 3D design. It takes a certain type of person to have the patience and love for detail for this art form. I certainly don't have it in me but I love to look at it and drool over 3D art!
So here is one type of App that caught my eye because I have heard such good things about it and finally saw some work that has been done using it. It is called Blender. It is an open source app and is quite powerful! I started to play around with it and since I had some experience with 3d Studio Max I find that this app has a lot to offer! I also found these
tutorials.
