New Anniversary Portrait

I painted a portrait for an anniversary. This was a great project because I used a slightly different technique and paint than I normally use. I was a challenge for the first half of the painting but once I got the hang of it I was easy!

I also had to learn a life lesson the hard way during the process of this painting. AUTO SAVE or SAVE YOUR WORK FREQUENTLY PEOPLE! I made such progress with this painting and kept forgetting to save because I was in the zone. Then it bit me on the bullocks! The electricity tripped and lost of the work and basically had to start all over again!
The worst ever! I lost over 4 hours of work. Please set your app to autosave or make sure you save your work every five or so minutes! It will save you a heart-ache!

I used Corel Painter to do the majority of the painting and Photoshop to clean up the painting and add effects.
