The Deurloo Family - Hope

So here is a portrait I painted for a good friend of mine. There is a sad story to this painting and despite what happened here the Deurloo family kept their sights on God and kept their heads high. I painted this for them to remind them of the Hope and Love that they have despite of the pain and troubles that they went through, truly truly amazing!

I wanted to show you "print screens" of the process that I went through. Not only was this a fun project but it was an honour to paint this for the Deurloo Family.

Painted using a custom Smear Brush in Painter 11


Imported into Adobe Photoshop to clean it up a little. Exported it back to Painter to fix loose ends.
