Character Design for a Client

Here are some quick peeks at what I am doing this week. I have been designing cartoon characters for a nutritional company based here in Minneapolis. It has actually been a fun process, picking at each other brains to find the best way to bring the characters to life. We will eventually have these characters animated for a 3 mins cartoon segment. Fun stuff.





I also decided to use CorelDRAW X4 not because of my ranting in my previous blog but I was working with Adobe CS which is way outdated and wanted something way more current. Why not CorelDRAW? I really love this program. It is easy to learn and has great features and it is a very powerful app! Basically it is Illustrator and InDesign put together in one app. What a great deal! I am able to export it as an .ai file or an editable PDF. CorelDRAW should get their marketing act together, they could be at the top with Adobe!
